Pontianak Hotel

Cheap and nice hotel in seri aman or serian?

we were making a trip by bike from Brunei to Pontianak maybe around 80 or more bikers, and thinking of stopby Seri Aman or Serian before proceeding to Pontianak, I would like to know are there any cheap and safe hotel or apartment there?

I have visited both places very often, Sri aman is a wonderful town 60% Iban, 20% Malay and 10% Chinese. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sri_Aman

Serian is a smaller town that we used to go shopping in as the jungle product is very fresh and cheap, there is a huge 30 foot statue of a Durian on the roundabout as one enters the town.

The Hilton in Batang Ai is not recommended as it’s off the beaten track far from town and you will need a longboat to get there plus it’s RM200 plus per night, so it all depends on your budget and timetable.
